EAH Sepharose 4B is a pre-activated resin for coupling of compounds with amino groups to Sepharose 4B via a 10-atom hydrophilic spacer arm by the epoxy coupling method.

• ECH SepharoseTM 4B is formed by covalent linkage of 6-aminohexanoic acid to sepharose 4B using an epoxy coupling method;
• Stable carbodiimide-based coupling of amino groups to sepharose 4B via 10-atom hydrophilic spacer arm;

ECH Sepharose 4B is formed by covalent linkage of 6-aminohexanoic acid to Sepharose 4B using an epoxy coupling method. ECH Sepharose 4B has free carboxyl groups at the end of 10-atom spacer arms, which are used to couple ligands containing primary amino groups with the carbodiimide coupling method. The long hydrophilic spacer arm makes it particularly suitable for immobilization of small molecules
