检测原理: 
The High Sensitivity Hemoglobin Detection Kit is designed to quantitatively measure all forms of hemoglobin present in plasma and serum. All forms of hemoglobin react with Hemoglobin Detection Reagent and the generated color is measured photometrically at 450 nm. A human hemoglobin standard is provided to generate a standard curve for the assay. Please read the complete kit insert before performing this assay.

背景:
Hemoglobin (Hgb) a red erythrocyte protein complex responsible for transporting oxygen in the blood. The complex is comprised of two sets of identical pairs of subunits. Each of which bind to an iron-porphyrin group commonly called heme. Heme binds and releases oxygen or carbon dioxide in response to slight changes in local gas tension. Hemoglobin values are associated with conditions such as anemias (low Hgb), erythrocytosis (high Hgb), thalassemia (aberrant chain synthesis), and sickling disorders (abnormal complex shape).
